How Does It Work?

We bid the keyword “Picture Framing” on Google.  A Google search on the word “picture framing” will return a link.  By clicking on the link, users will be directed to a page on our website that will contain a list of picture framers.  This list of picture framers will be categorized geographically so users can locate the participating framer nearest them.  Your listing will include your business name, address, phone number and a link to your web page so the user can go directly to your advertisement and learn more about you.  Sign up now.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Internet Advertising Program is offered FREE to any customer of Framing4Yourself who wishes to participate.   We ask that participants with websites link back to us, thereby creating a beneficial reciprocal link.   What is a Reciprocal Link?  Also, if you have a picture of your framing operation or of someone matting, framing or consulting with a customer, please email it to us as it will help to enhance your listing.  Send Email
 

Do You Have to Have a Web Page?

No, you can just list your name, address and phone number.  But users of the web prefer clicking on a web page.  The next best thing is to have a picture of your framing operation to accompany your listing. Will We Rank Number One on Google?

The way Google works it’s impossible to guarantee ranking.  Our bid will specify rankings in positions 1-5.  Based on the competitive bids at the moment, we may rank anywhere in the top five positions, or we may not appear at all, depending on the time of day or the part of the country the ad is being shown in.  Google distributes ads across the country and at different times of the day with a frequency based on bid amount, ad relevancy, popularity, longevity and other factors.  It is unproductive and ill-advised to try to manipulate these results.  The best we can do is to place relevant, well-designed ads and bid appropriately.  We will do this for you.

What Kind of Results Can We Expect?

Our ability to target Google ads locally should generate quality search results.  This means that an ad for your picture framing service in, say, Schenectady, NY, will only appear in Schenectady and not in the search results for, say, San Diego, CA, which would be a waste of money.  Your ads will only appear in your relevant market.  Consequently, the competition for ad space should be reduced and the ability to reach customers should increase.  A well designed ad on Google should generate at least as much interest as a comparable yellow page advertisement, especially if we have reciprocal links.


What Is a Reciprocal Link?

A reciprocal link is a link from your web page back to Framing4Yourself.com.  It is entirely FREE.  It is considered reciprocal because we are both linking to each other.  Google looks favorably on websites that link back and forth to each other, particularly when those sites have content relevant to each other.  Plenty of reciprocal links means consistently higher search rankings, which benefits us both.

Naturally, if you don’t have a web page you can’t provide a reciprocal link, but if you do, we ask that you link back to us.
