Note:  To mount pieces that are larger than the press you will need release board.

  Here's How it Works...

Step 1:  Place the adhesive tissue over the artwork.   Step 2:  Trim the edges of the tissue so it conforms to the size of the artwork.

Step 3:   The tissue should be precisely the same size as the artwork.   Step 4:   Lift the tissue off the artwork and tack the tissue to the foamboard using a tacking iron.  Tack at one point along one edge.

Step 5:   Place the artwork image side up on the tissue and align its edges with the edges of the tissue.  Using a piece of release paper between the iron and artwork, tack the artwork to the tissue.       Step 6:   With the artwork tacked to the tissue and the tissue tacked to the foamboard, place one corner of the artwork into the press.   Step 7:  Arrange a release board over the corner of the artwork..   Step 8:  Close the press.  The platen should contact the release board at all points.  No part of the platen should contact the artwork or the foamboard.

Step 9:  When you lift the platen, one corner of the artwork will be adhered.   Step 10:  Turn the artwork a quarter turn and replace it in the press, preparing to adhere a second corner.    Step 11:  Keep turning the artwork and adhering each corner until the full piece is adhered.
