  Here's How it Works...

To open and assemble the underpinner you will need a screwdriver, a hammer, a 19mm wrench, a 13mm wrench, and a utility knife.   There are 8 latches around the top of the box. To release them you will need a screw driver. Start by inserting the screwdriver into the opening on the latch.   Push on the handle of the screwdriver to lift the latch to a horizontal position.

Now once again insert the screwdriver into the opening, but this time insert it from the bottom up and then bend the latch up to a vertical position.   Repeat the process on all 8 latches. This should release the top of the crate. You may need to use a hammer to hit the edges of the lid to prop it open.   On the bottom of the crate you will find 2 bolts.   Use a 19mm wrench to unscrew and remove both bolts.

Now carefully grab the underpinner and lift it out of the crate. WARNING: underpinner weights 20kg. (about 44 lbs.)   Remove the plastic and the package wrapped in it.   Using a utility knife carefully cut and remove the plastic from the package

Now lift top portion of the underpinner...   until it lines up with the openings on the leg support.   Insert a screw on each opening...   and tighten them up using the provided allen key and a 13mm wrench.

Under the underpinner you will find a wood block that serves as a stop. To remove it you have to press down on the tube on top of the underpinner...   ...and while still pressing down very carefully remove the wood block from underneath using your other hand.

Ps. this may require the help of a second person.

Now remove the 4 screws on top of the underpinner and put them aside.   Lift the "table"...

... turn it 180 degrees and place it back down.   Align the top part with the screw openings on the red casing and place the 4 screws you removed earlier back in place.   On the bottom end of the leg remove the bolt and then place the end of the foot pedal aligned with the openings.   Replace the bolt back in place...

... and using the proper size allen key provided and a 13mm wrench tighten the bolt.   Farther down on the pedal you will see another bolt going across the bars.   Remove the nut on the end...   ... and place the "hoop" on the end of the cable around the bolt, and replace the nut back in place.

Here is how your underpinner should look right now.   Lay the underpinner on its back on the floor and screw the 4 feet in place.   Put the underpinner back in an upright position. If it is not leveled with the ground you will easily be able to adjust the feet by screwing or screwing the feet until the underpinner is flush to the ground. You will want a distance of about 50mm between the feet support and the ground.   Now place the 2 bars provided along each side of the top of the underpinner so they align with the screw openings on the red casing.

Now place the extension table in place. and place the 4 screws provided in place.   And lastly slide the triangular plastic piece to the end of the presser bracket.   Your underpinner is now ready to be used!
