RabbetSpace® solves the problem of frames that are too shallow for the stack of contents loaded into them.  These long strips of black acrylic overlap the back of the stack and when used with black matboard or foamboard as the last piece in the stack are virtually inconspicuous.  What’s more, ½” deep RabbetSpace®  are a sound solution for holding canvas on stretcher bars in too shallow frames.    

Each bundle of seven 5 foot strips includes 150 screws for attaching the strips to the back of the frame.  To cut and assemble the strips you will need an inexpensive miter box with saw and the special RabbetSpace drill bit.  To make things cleaner and neater you may also want to use wood cutting strips and a bevel square, which you can find at any home improvement center.
