Mat Cutters

Built entirely of aluminum to provide the highest degree of durability, the Platinum Edge uses ball bearings to provide smooth gliding cutting heads and eliminate play due to wear. The micro-adjustable magnetic stops provide extra precision in starting and stopping to insure flawless corners. 

Available in two lengths:  The Model C850 for standard size 32”x40” mat board, and The Model C860 for large format 40”x 60” mat board.  Both versions cut 8-ply double-thick matboard as well as regular single thick matboard with the same #267-100 blade.  They include dual straight/bevel cutting heads, detachable squaring arms, automatic production stops and mat guide measuring systems as well as instruction books, DVDs and ten blades each.

Professional mat cutting system includes dual straight/bevel cutting head, 32” squaring arm, automatic production stops, mat guide measuring system. Durable and extremely precise.  Available in two lengths: The Model #650-1 for standard size 32”x40” mat board and The Model #660-1 for large format 40”x 60” mat board. 

All versions cut 8-ply double-thick matboard as well as regular single thick matboard and come with 10 extra blades, instructions and DVD.     Uses 269-100 blades for cutting 4-ply.  Uses 268-100 blades for bevel cutting 8-ply.

Includes bevel cutting head, straight cutting head and five blades.  This mat cutter does a terrific job cutting windows in mats but has some limitations when it comes to reducing full size sheets of mat board and foam board.  Uses #270 blades.

The Team System Mat Cutters combine a Logan hand-held mat cutter with an extruded guide rail.  The cutting head hooks onto the guide rail to insure straight, true cuts.  The guide rail has a rubberized base to prevent slippage. 

The Team System mat cutters use a Logan Model #270 blade.
